The Glamor Bar residency

Kellie O’Dempsey was the artist in residence at the The Glamor Bar, Shanghai, China. from June 11 – 3 July 2010. Painting scenes live at the Glamour Bar (She painted the fabulous mural during the 10th anniversary party which is permanently featured in the bar) where she mesmerized all. Described as a luxurious salon, The Glamour Bar is renowned for its edgy entertainment – going against the grain with shows and performances reeking of individuality and non-conformity.  Rock, pop, drag, funk, soul, film, literature. Over this period Kellie painted live Theo Croker’s Afro Sonic Orchestra, DJ T.Easy and the Luz Roja party, William Barton (one of Australia’s leading didjeridu players and composers) accompanied by Max Hay, the Crystal Chamber Music: Ensemble  featuring Les Amis and Jensen Lam and Abigail Washburn & Friends.
